Self-Harm Recovery Daily Check-In: Sunday, November 29th, 2020
hey hey all you lovelies! welcome back to our check-ins, happy sunday!!
soo here in my time zone, EST, it is currently 9:50pm, so here i am thinking, hmm what could i do for a theme today! then it dawned on me! stability <3. my check-ins I may sure to have similar looking gifs, formats, colors, and font sizes!! I like to make this a safe stable place, which it is! but as we all know, things aren't always that simple! sometimes, its something smaller, like mary-kate not being able to find a theme, but sometimes its larger like not getting sleep, or a big life event. things happen to everyone, and today in honor of stability, and the lack there of at times, I want to let you all know, you aren't alone when things get a little crazy and upside down, it will be alright, and I know you got this! this is getting a little long haha so let's get onto some fun questions!

1. How have you been feeling lately? is there anything you'd like to share?
I have managed to stay occupied so I don't remember or get in my head so not to bad if I'm doing stuff. its not a real answer. I cant continuously be doing stuff.
2. change can be scary, do you encounter it often? either way, we all generally experience it sometimes, how can we cope with it?
I normally dont encounter it that much. I'm maybe a bit different. I have all the same cut of pants I put everything back in the same pocket and position. That's just one little example. I'm like that a lot in other areas. I also think it helps me for with the little changes. I don't have anything for that for the larger changes.
3. if you could be the best in the world, at anything, what would it be?
I want to say something that would make it so I could actually help people. But I'm selfish and I need help. So I don't really know.
@Flornhope hi there!! its great to see you again!! I get that youve been staying occupied! i do the exact same thing. staying occupied is a wonderful way to distract ourselves!! i think it can definitely be a good answer, although i understand if it may not be super realistic! it can be tough <3 I get not having to encounter change too often, i totally get having everything stay the same! i prefer to be that way as well, except as I grew older, my dad kept having us move around the country and Ive learned change happens very very much in my life!! it is sweet you'd like to say something that would help others, and I don't think your selfish at all! it can be really hard, and just the fact you have those kind thoughts, i believe makes you very kind!! <3 we are all here to support and help!! *offers hugs* thanks so so much for checking in with us! i hope you have a lovely day!

I have been okay lately. It's overall been a hard week for me and just a lot going on. I am trying to make it better so we will see how it goes

I have to say yes. I often do encounter it. To cope, I will reach out to a listener with my members account and talk about it.
