My own injuries trigger me
Idk if it's just me, but my own recent c*ts/scratches have triggered me into doing more
It's stupid because it's my own body and as much as I hate this habit, I've become used to seeing those marks on my skin.

That's not hard to imagine. I can think of a lot of parallels to any number of things that provide similar evidence, either of having recently happened, or just about to happen again. Take a disheveled romantic couple. A person could look at them and assume they've recently been active together. Another person could look at the same couple and be triggered by a deep desire to be active with another person.
In other words, seeing evidence of an experience can trigger the urge to replicate it. That's very common.
How does it feel to think about a time when you weren't used to seeing evidence of SH on your body?
How might you feel if such evidence were absent today?
Is talking to a professional who has experience with SH possible or of interest to you?
