Postpartum issues

I have noticed something new in my behavior.I am quite scared I started hurting myself from last few months and this month I tried like 4 to 5 times. I am doing this only when am getting into fights with my husband.

He wont change his behavior I know but I don't know why am doing this.

He keeps on blaming me so I started punishing myself.

Dear Beloved,

I can feel your pain. You are not at fault. Please do not hurt yourself because of other people's mistakes. When you hurt yourself, it does not affect him. It only increases your own suffering. Do more of what brings you relief, not pain. You have to take care of yourself.

You are already wise enough to understand that nobody in this world changes for anybody. Then why hurt ourselves when others do not care for us? Let us care for ourselves.

You might be hurting yourself because you might be feeling stressed and unsure how to respond in those situations. But every time you feel like hurting yourself, stop and ask yourself: Do I want to increase my suffering? If you do not take care of yourself, then who will? If you take responsibility for your self-care, you may begin to manage this urge.

Even if he blames you, you know that you are not at fault, and you need not prove anything to anyone. It is not wise to hurt ourselves because of another person's behavior. Please take care of yourself.

Thanks for your kind words 🫠

I wont hurt myself again 😌
