I am so sorry that someone made such a horrible comment toward you. Especially someone you know, are or were close to at some point. How have you been since hearing that? I’m not in your head, but I would just ruminate over that until it made a home next to all my thoughts and beliefs.
So if no one has told you recently, let me be the one to provide some clarity. You don’t deserve to be spoken to like that. I am so happy that you are here. You deserve to be here and to be treated with kindness. I don’t know you, but I know you are enough, just by being you, and no one should make you feel otherwise. I am sorry that they can’t see all of your awesomeness. Truly their loss.
If you are able to recognize your worth and your amazingness and that you deserve compassion, then I’m glad their comment is something you can leave behind. And if it’s begun to root itself in your mind, read what this random person can see about you in the above paragraph. Because that is your worth.
I’m glad you’re here. 🙂
@littlebluebug
Yeah it was very difficult it almost felt like a shock and tbh I sort of did do it to myself again but the moment keep on replaying in my head which is draining me and sometimes increases the urges again and there are still days where that thought ruins me even tho it’s been a while since that happened
But a really appreciate your kind words thank you

I think hearing that would come as a shock to anyone. And it doesn’t matter about your actions or how you’ve been doing, that comment is not ok or deserved. I hear you say how draining and exhausting it is to replay that conversation over and over again. I imagine it drains you down to just the negative thoughts, and it makes sense that some days your urges go up. That’s a comment that would stay with me for a long time. And I am very proud of you for managing those urges, as intense as they might get sometimes. That's a huge win! I am so, so happy you are here. No actions in your past will ever warrant that comment. Made by someone else, or even to yourself.
Thank you for riding out those urges. Thank you for being here, even if your brain sometimes can only see the bad parts. You deserve to see all of your awesomeness.
Any friend that says this, isn’t a good friend.
Imagine if something did happen to you. They’d never forgive themselves.
I think it may be worth setting a boundary and saying that’s not ok to say and that it hurts you / impacts you. And if these friends can’t honor that, you are better off without them.
Also please please don’t listen to them. The world needs you, and there’s others in your life that need you too. !! These friends—They are clearly jerks and I’m so sorry they said that to you.
@charmingPine9831
honey if they told you that they are not what you call a friend
@charmingPine9831
you are precious don't listen to them keep moving forward and dont listen to sh** like that
