Is that "normal"? (TW//self-harm)
I'm cutting myself, but I don't cry while I do it. Actually, I don't feel anything (except the pain) and do it automatically. Sometimes I look at my wrist afterwards and then I realize what I did. I'm sometimes schocked at myself and then I start crying and regretting it. So can anyone relate or is it only me?

trigger warning
we can relate to what you saying. we use to cut deep not really feel it at all. was like it hurt some but we thought we deserved the pain too. the lowest point was we end up with staples in our leg due to cutting. we not did that in very very long time either was in our low 30's we 55yr now. at that point we got scared due to the amount of blood. that was when we seek help fully for the self harm. but we never felt anything other then pain. we was emotionally numb is what we found out we still dealing with that part. to feel emotions and be ok with them.
we went few years with no self harm but within last month we have sliped up but not badly. we not want to get that to how bad we end up being
please seek help as not feeling other then the pain really bad
@stormieandpaws thank you for your comment! I'm sorry you can relate and feel this way. I'll try to seek help.
