Spacing out.
Hi there. I was just wondering if anyone has had this experience. After I self harm now, for like 5-10 minutes i'm spaced out. For example, if i'm sitting in a chair im unable to move and just totally space out. Once i come out of it, i've forgotten what i've done but then i look and realise what i have done to myself. Is this normal?

Hey there! Thanks for sharing a bit about how you are feeling and what's going on. I guess when you space out your mind isn't really there and you wouldn't realize what you are doing in the moment. I guess like sleep and if you are feeling tired could affect spacing out. Or it can when you are emotionally overwhelmed by something. You are more than welcome to share about things and experience. Feel free to message me

i get that. i remember sometimes what im thinking of during the black out but most of the time i forget or im not thinking anything. i can feel my whole body just cave in and relax or sometimes time speeds up or slows down. My expereicnes tell me to come back to my body and connect with my mind again. breathing in and out, recognizing and accepting my surroundings and accepting my self. then when i'm ready I fill that empty feeling with something that makes me feel., anything that i enjoy that starts that warm uplifting feeling in my body. it might not always work but there r other ways.if u want to chat
