We are who we are for a lot of reasons
Hi
I've been struggling with self harm since I was 12. I'm now getting close to 30 And I'm still trying to figure this thing out.
i can go years without harming and then something happens and I'm back at square one.
it's like this embarrassing cloud that follows me everywhere I go. I want to tell my spouse but I'm afraid he won't see me the same but I want to tell because maybe I will feel a bit more free.
the struggle is real. But I am trying to get better.

Hey there, thanks for sharing your story. You said that you feel like you always go back to square one, which is a very understandable feeling to feel. However, it seems like everytime you went back to square one, you got back up and continued to fight on, which is incredibly courageous and I'm proud of you for that and you should be too. The struggle is indeed real and you are trying to get there and sometimes trying makes all the difference. Sending you my warm positive vibes <3 xoxo
