I'm so sorry you are having such a bad experience with listeners around here.. I'm sure there are lots of really great listeners out here though it's sad to find so many that aren't engaged in what they're doing.

As a member I have felt the same. Trying to find a listener who you can connect with on a personal level is key for me. I understand the need for listeners to detach themselves and I find the obvious scripted paraphrasing of some frustrating but just as you are experiencing you want to connect with a real person who has their own thoughts and opinions. I take it for what it is, an opinion, and I may or may not agree with that opinion but at least it offers a real perspective which helps me to then analyse my opinion and either change, modify or cement mine. Listeners are the same as me, they have their own issues and I see it as a reciprocal process in as much as we help each other to get through. The diverse nature of people being drawn from across the globe means that we won't always be able to connect or gel with every listener, I truly know what you are going through in your search, but don't give up !. There is a listener out there for you !. Even though we have not connected before, I want to Thankyou for being a listener, you are really trying to help others and I'm sure you have made a positive impact on those that have reached out. Have you tried putting this on the classifieds forum so that other listeners can see ?. I wish you well in your search and hope that you can find the peace of mind that you are looking, take care, 😊
