I don't understand badges
I don't understand the listener badges, particularly the ones that say they're awarded for helping N members achieve a personal victory. I see shapes (circles, squares), some white, some yellow, etc. when I click the link to nominate the listener for a badge. I suspect there is information in shapes and colors but cannot figure what that information might be.
I think it would be less confusing to have only the "next" badge in such a sequence appear when a user is looking to nominate a listener for a badge. The site should be able to track how many users had achieved personal victories (or whatever else might be out there that is badgeworthy). I worry a bit that there may be listeners who have multiple nominations spread across multiple, similar not-yet-earned badges that should "add up" to one (or more) "full" badges.
So... is my understanding of how these things work completely off-kilter? Please enlighten me. Thanks!
Hey @squib !
Those shapes you see are kinda like levels! The different colour, the harder the badge is to get (I believe).
I think the badge levels work like this:
Bronze
Silver
Gold
Diamond
(i don't know what the funny square one is, but that too)
I agree that similar badges should add up! For instance, helping 6 members through a personal victory and helping 10 members through a personal victory, hopefully voting them for one of the badges tallies up towards the others too! It'd be quite silly if it didn't
If this doesn't happen already, you're free to put it into the suggestion box!
Also... by suggestion box, do you mean a post in this forum? Or is there some link to a box somewhere I should see?
Okay a late reply but if anyone is reading then... the odd black square badge level I believe is "Platinum"- which is the highest level (right after diamond)
