Unfairly Banned! I Lost my Friends and Support System! Removed Email addresses so they dont delete my thread.
It's all good actually.I was able to download a different browser that hides my IP address. I dont have to worry about this anymore, and i found my friend i was missing! I really dont want you to have my facebook and dont care if this account gets reactivated. I am disappointed by how long it took. I dont believe you ever looked into this, had you looked into it you would have known a few things:
1. I was NOT the instigator in these situations, i was the victim of the same people you said i was one of.
2. I had a terrible thing happen to me and found some AMAZING people to help me through it.
3. I NEVER crossed a line or made anyone uncomfortable, if i did i stopped talking. I was tricked into being into a porn movie, its an uncomfortable situation.
4. I SHOULD NOT have been banned.
5. I SHOULD NOT have been banned.
So overall I think you handled this situation in an absolutely horrendous fashion. I will let anyone i can know this and the struggle i had with your site. I was on the brink of a nervous breakdown/ready to end my life situation. I reached out to YOU in this time of need and you DID NOTHING. Not only that for me to be able to get my friends back you asked ME for personal details. The exact OPPOSITE of what your site is about. I sent heartfelt emails and BEGGED for your help. What did i get? NOTHING. Did you ever even read ANY of my conversations?? I can't believe i let you affect me so much for WEEKS. I woke up every day with ONE thought of hope in my mind: "maybe today i can talk to the people that helped me so much" that never happened. And i sunk deeper into my mind everyday. I was manipulated, then i trusted myself to people online. They were amazing, then they were TAKEN AWAY.
I know you are probably out to do good and protect your site. You completely failed on this situation. You did no good and you protected your site no better than it was before. I will never think of your site the same again and i will let others know of the terrible experience i had. Hopefully this situation or email will make you seriously look at the way you are doing things.

How is this user still banned? We should get some more information on this before this leaves a black mark on the site. It seems we severely damaged this girls emotions for several weeks.
As an update, I created another account. After i sent that email yesterday I went in to find that it had been deactivated as well. Done with this site! This is sad, you hurt a person who was finding solace here.
I dont really understand what you did to get banned but sorry it didnt work out! Hopefully you find a nitch and someone to confide in in the future :)

I'm so sorry you had to deal with this babe. But yes sometimes the people on here are not appreciated as much as they should be, and one bad review, or block from a listener can deactivate your account. I'm so sorry that they had a negative impact on you for weeks, I hope they reply to you soon, or just tag @Laura and @Heather and they'll hopefully get in touch with you. Needless to say, but if you ever feel like talking to someone about this or ANYTHING, I'm here for you <3
Happened to me. The authority on this site sucks
This was a point I was trying to put across, it seems like the site authority wants the chats to be hanging on professionalism while still being empathetic, helpful,not opinionated,not advocating,but supportive and still seem like a normal human interaction. And then the members want something different. And somewhere in the middle are listeners getting banned by reports for things that aren't against the rules being enforced because of things that received no complaints but are against the rules. And apparently members too. Dissapointing to say the least. But also potentially severely stressful. Not only for embers but for listeners too. Perhaps even more so, as has been said before the member can probably find another listener.
But the listeners would likely never find all their members
I've been here for almost 11 months and have gotten a lot worse. Yes, worse. All because of bad listeners, moderators and ambassadors. I've gone to hell and back to resolve my situation in any way possible, contacting anyone I can and I have just been shushes and bullied around by the makes of a site designed to help people. I do NOT recommend this site to anyone looking for support or anything more than a quick chat because you will just get a hard time from everyone.
Wow. I just joined and came across this thread. I am so sorry that has been your experience after 11 months. But I am glad you have gotten help. I'm concerned that things got to this point. Although I'm new, I'm here if you need me.
I'm really sorry you haven't been able to get the value of out the membership. There are good listeners out there it just seems they're all getting banned right now
