seeing posts/thread responses/notifications

My app sometimes notifies me of posts to threads I have subscribed to... but I am unable to see either my post/reply or the new post. Am I doing something wrong?

The app is buggy when it comes to sending you to the right page in the forums after you've clicked on the notification.
