Back to school shopping!
Hi everyone and happy Tuesday! I hope everyone's day is going wonderfully and beautifully so far. As of now (since I'm writing this forum post before Tuesday), I'm still figuring out what my status is for school and what program I'll be taking for the 2021-2022 school year, which is stressful! But other than that, I've been experimenting with digtal art and notes for the past few days and have had a really great experience with it.
Purchasing an iPad reminded me of back-to-school shopping pre-pandemic. Although back-to-school shopping can still happen to those who are going to school in-person this year and also for those who will be staying home, it's definitely going to feel really different this year! You might not be purchasing as many supplies or you might not purchase supplies at all. Some might purchase some new clothes to treat themselves at home and others might not. To me, back-to-school shopping was also a really magical experience for me and I'm going to miss it tons!
To those who are going back to school shopping this year, here are some tips!
💘Please stay safe! Your safety is the most important thing. If that means wearing a mask or trying to avoid others at the store, make sure you're being cautious and safe while shopping!
💘Grab essentials along with what makes you happy. Since we've been in quarantine and in isolation a lot and haven't really "needed" many new things, make sure you're grabbing the essentials for school (which might mean notebooks, calculators, pens, etc.) and also treat yourself! If you see a new mug or some lights for your bedroom wall, it's okay to indulge a bit if you're financially allowed to! It's important to find small joys in times of a lot of stress and the trauma of a pandemic that we're collectively going through.
💘Purchase a few things in advance (but don't hoard). If you could forsee yourself needing a few extra notebooks for a class or needing some extra pens since the pack you bought didn't hold enough!

I still have yet to take stock of my school supplies (even though school starts tomorrow), but I probably will go shopping! I think I have enough pens to last me an eternity, but notebooks will definitely on my list of things to buy.
Do you enjoy back to school shopping season? Did you/do you usually shop for items or for clothing more?
I do enjoy back to school shopping, I love the opportunity to pick up fresh notebooks and binders for a new school year. Although, I may stick to reusing the majority of my supplies this year. I usually don't shop much for clothes during back to school, it's almost always stationery and office supplies that I'm purchasing!
What's your favorite and least favorite fruit?
Hm, my favorite fruit is probably grapes. The least favorite of the fruits that I've had would probably have to be bananas, although I really don't hate them that much.

I always love the notebooks I got in the past till I moved over to read as I go through about 5 notebooks a semester which is 30 notebooks a semester. Plus my handwriting is terrible so typing and iPad for the win. Besides that, do you color-code your notebook for better organizing your notes?
@Asherwolfice
My handwriting is rather terrible too, especially when note-taking, but I find that information really does tend to stick around better when I write it down. I actually don't refer back to my notes often, so I feel that a color-coding system or other organizational system is more effort for little reward—but that is just my personal preference.

Are you going back to school shopping this year?
No. This semester is online, and I've started using my iPad for taking notes.
Do you enjoy back to school shopping season? Did you/do you usually shop for items or for clothing more?
Before leaving high school not so much. In college, it was good. I would usually shop for notebooks, and pens.
What's your favorite and least favorite fruit?
I don't eat fruits. xD

Using the Ipad to take notes has been a thing as a college senior to learn as then all my notes are available and then I can look them up on the spot. What apps have you been using to learn from the Ipad, as I think there's a lot of learning that people are seeing from using that resource?
@Asherwolfice
I use Notability. It's free, and it has nice features (I like taking notes manually). It even lets you record! On the other hand, I might try GoodNotes. You have to buy it; but I've seen videos of people using it... It seems very nice. Another thing I use is Adobe Scan as a scanner. It's free, and very good.
This another thing I've heard of (not used it) is Draw.io. It lets you create schemes which might help people who are more visual rather than reading text.
These are the ones I know. There might be more!

Hey There, nice questions!
🎒Are you going back to school shopping this year?
Nope, I study online this year.
📝Do you enjoy back to school shopping season? Did you/do you usually shop for items or for clothing more?
Not mich. I usually want to finish buying everything as soon as possible. Besides, I'm a bit impatient when the line towards the cashier is long.
Before, I usually shop for school supplies like papers, correction tape, and ballpens.
