Create Your Study Plan
What is a Study Plan?
A study plan is an organized schedule that you create to outline your study times and learning goals. Every student will develop a different study plan; there is no correct study plan for everyone. So a study plan is more of a personalized plan than a generalized one.

Why do you need a Study Plan?
- Creating a study plan makes you more organized.
- It holds you accountable for your own learning outcomes.
- It creates a sense of determination and self-discipline.
- It keeps you motivated to study.
- It allows you to have efficient time management.
How can you create your Study Plan?
1. Develop a time schedule of your current activities.
2. Develop a schedule for studying. Include how many hours will you study on which days (e.g. 3 hours of studying from Monday to Friday). Don't ignore the time required for relaxation, physical exercise, pursuing hobbies, social interaction etc.
3. Identify your strength and weaknesses in each of your courses/subjects.
4. Determine your goals. Figure out a SMART goal that is S= Specific, M= Measurable, A= Achievable, R= Relevant, T= Timebound. Decide e.g. what chapters do you want to finish by the next month, what grade do you expect for a certain course etc.
5. Based on your goals, allocate time from tour study schedule for each course/subject.
6. Stick to the plan. (Be flexible to modify the plan in sudden, unexpected circumstances)
