Is 1589 a bad score for the 2017 SAT?

Bad and good can only be definited by you and your goals. The sat changed in March 2016, if so the article from prepscholar puts you in the top range if the test was out of 1600 instead of 2400. If that's the case, you definitely have nothing to worry about! :) If you need help interpreting your scores, you could also ask a counselor at your school based on what college you want to go to. I assume you are aiming for a university or higher up since it means so much to you. Good luck! @Kellen

@Kellen The new SAT is out of 1600, so 1589 out of 1600 is a great score.
