Agree to the post before - games - PUBG is my favorite... I'm trying to do something about it. I read various articles or a review on useful resources that would make study easier and there would be fewer excuses for games. I read an interesting article about procrastination here. And can say that in some moments I recognized myself. For example: if there is a difficult exam ahead, then I notice abruptly that I have dirty in the room and that should be removed immediately... Therefore, I'm "tired" and I need to rest playing ... So is my procrastination.

I'm not totally sure, but I think my biggest reason for procrastination might just be force of habit. It's a habit I've built up for years, ever since I was in elementary school. Sometimes I also feel anxious/overwhelmed thinking about starting my homework, but I think that might just be part of the overarching problem, which is that it's a habit I've been practicing for years. Of course I would have trouble stopping.

And I heard that it takes 3 weeks to make or break a habit, my longest streak without procrastinating (that I can remember) is probably a few days. I would break this habit immediately if I could, I feel like if I took 3 weeks and got used to not procrastinating, I would be much better off. I would still have moments of procrastination, but at least it wouldn't be a constant in my life and habit I'm used to.

A traumatic experience with studying..

Ok how to start this!!!

I was like always a grade A student till high school..

At high school i had a traumatic experience. Serious family problems when my parents separated.. ended with divorce later on however!

Found myself all alone. No family. No friends. With real pain inside.

Besides. Loosing a person i loved!

So, there was also like no love life at that time.

Conclusion. Studying didnt no good to me!

Joined college..

Grades dropping .. till now its really hard for me to study even though now i understand its something good, important. Just part of me keep procrastination!

Need your words of support!
