Hello there lovelies! ♡
So one of my friends once mentioned she was thinking of starting something called a "bullet journal" I was like, "Wait...what? Like, is it a to-do list or is it a diary?
So about two days later, I bought a new notebook and sat down with tons of open tabs and websites , determined to figure out this entire thing and it turned out super easy to do and super helpful!
I've been using my bullet journal daily since then, and I'm literally obsessed! c:

The Bullet Journal is like a potato.

That's what makes the Bullet Journal so special. It starts with a blank journal and a pen which is ridiculously simple and almost boring, but it's also the lazy genius organizer we've been dreaming of. The Bullet Journal is an organizational system in a notebook that keeps track of anything you would like to write down.

A Bullet Journal is good for.

- People who have lots of little to-do lists lying around
- People who are into goal-setting and habit tracking
- People who want to be more organized
- People who would like to keep a journal/diary but are having trouble sticking with the habit

Your Bullet Journal can be set up in the next five minutes (Literally).
First, the bullet journal system uses a lot of fancy language that makes everything more difficult to understand. Here's what those terms actually mean:

♦ Bullet journal: a method of journaling and note-taking that uses bullet points as the core structure.

♦ The Index Page: a table of contents that you update as you go.

♦ The Future Log: year-at-a-glance calendar where you can put events, goals, and long-term things you need to do.

♦ The Monthly Log: traditional month calendar + things you need to do that month + things you forgot to do last month.

♦ The Daily Log: things you did and/or need to do today (+ other observations).

♦ Signifiers: symbols that help you get these things done.

♦ Collections: Collections are topical pages in your Bullet Journal.

The Bullet Journal doesn't have to dress for the Red Carpet.

Anything that's not a log. I've had collection pages for books to read, shows to watch, recipes to try, cleaning lists, songs I like, sketches, tiny adventures and that's just scratching the surface. I would open a new Bullet Journal and make a collection for everything I could think of. Most of it I didn't need to think hard about; it was already in my head, be creative c:
Don't create collections simply to fill pages. Let them happen naturally.

The point is you can use your Bullet Journal however you want. Yes, it can hold everything and does for many people. It is possible to have everything in one place using one simple method and simultaneously note the soul that flows through your days. It's my favorite lazy genius way to organize my life, and I hope you love it as much as I do.
