exams and feelings defeated

hey there i’m currently giving a very important exam. i can’t help but feel so defeated and lost through this process. this exam is not only important for my career but it’s important to me. if i do well it’s going to be such a confidence boost and proof that i shouldn’t put myself down and that i am capable of doing great things. the worry of disappointing people who believed in me such as my parents and my teachers and more importantly myself has consumed me. however taking a step back and realising that as long as i tried my best it’s okay and everyone makes mistakes, in the end those mistakes and the numbers on a sheet don’t define me and my worth. incase anyone else feels the same way i hope this reminded you to believe in yourself!

Absolutely correct! There’s so much more to a person than their mistakes. After all, doing nothing is substantially more risky than making mistakes. If you do nothing, you may not make mistakes... but you’ll also make no progress. All that can be asked of someone is that they try! I’m so glad that you were able to put this in words, I wish I could upvote the two people in this thread (at the time of writing) more than once :)
