Hi. How do you guys get out of (or avoid) academic burn-out, especially during exam seasons/finals?

When I was a student, It was helpful to schedule me time when I could that week- maybe just an hour at the end of the night before bed with friends, watching tv, or anything else that I needed.

Also make sure you are taking time to exercise, sleep and eat food! It doesn’t have to be healthy- I always forgot to eat, so trying to incentivize eating with food from my favorite restaurant was awesome!

I think its important to take regular breaks, get enough sleep. If needed always seek help and remember, it's okay to ask for extensions or support when overwhelmed. Its never good to lie to yourselves so if you feel stressed and overwhelmed ask support, there are people who are there to support you :)

@Kikoguin Back then I walked a lot whenever I felt the tension in my head or felt stressed. Most days I counted 5,000 steps, some days it was double that. It helped me a lot to refocus on my current tasks later, and even improve my sleep during the exam week. 🚶

That's such a good advice, thanks a lot 🙏 Tough I wonder, how do you know when to quit? I do that often as a form of stimming and I end up doing until I tire myself out or until I'm called to somewhere, which doesn't end up very productive either way 😅
