moving back to public
so I have been an online student for 2 years and have been doing amazing! but we have decided to move back to public school .. I'm excited to be able to see my old friends and make some new ones its just they won't put me in a sped class (special education class) they won't even give me a sit in ed teacher, I do plan on advocating for myself and making sure I get the things I need I'm just worried about the outcome (I'm 9th going into 10th grade for context)
I take meds for ADHD,mood swings, and Depression as well
any tips or tricks? lots of love from your trans friend Noah
Noah, it's great that you're eager to transition back to public school and reconnect with friends. Advocating for yourself is important, especially when it comes to getting the support you need. Gather information about your rights and accommodations, and reach out to school staff to discuss your needs. Stay positive and persistent, and remember that you have the right to receive the support that helps you succeed. You've got this!
