I’ve always been one to like a drink but never thought I would be someone that would end up with a drink problem! And since all the lockdowns my drinking was getting out of hand and I was becoming very argumentative towards the people I love and care about the most, most recently I went out for a booze lunch and ended up so drunk I passed out in the town and my three dogs were running about off the leads and they could of got knocked over by a car, I have no idea how I even got in that position, I suffer with depression and anxiety so I drink to numb the pain but after this episode of passing out I’ve decided it’s time to seek help and get my life back on track before it’s to late, I drink to the point I can’t even remember what I’m doing or saying and hurting everyone I love around me 😔

I FEEL you. I dont go out much but I drink a lot at night to numb the pain of my husband being distant an unaffectionate. What helps me is having goals for myself. It sounds dumb but I feel that if I can just stick to a routine of waking up and eventually workout i feel at peace. Fun exercises like dance or zumba are centering.
