Ashamed and embarrassed
I am 36, currently jobless, going through separation, struggling with depression and when all this gets too much to handle, I turn to alcohol. I don't seem to control how much I am drinking and also I am no longer able to hold my liquor.
Yesterday it was one of those days. I went for day-drinking. I drank a lot, then I vomited, then drank some more. While coming back home I stopped to smoke and sober down a little bit. But while washing my face with water, I fell into a ditch. someone came to check up on me. I did not realize it then, but my jeans were covered in mud from behind and on my legs, and my shoes were muddy. I came home and I noticed there was mud on my T-shirt too. I ate and went to sleep. When I woke up, I saw mud on my ankle. I don't know how that happened. I am feeling ashamed and embarrassed. My dad was asking me yesterday if I was drunk. I have not gone out of my bedroom since I woke up.
I don't know what to do and how to get support. I don't have any friends to ask for support. I need help.

I would like to tell you that I'm so glad ur here posting. Nothing to be ashamed of or embarrassed about we all sometimes fall off the wagon.
I have been sober 16 months from drugs and alcohol and drinking for me was floating my life away.
Mindfulness and different support groups and therapy and 7 cups have helped me tremendously in my sober healing journey.
Rooting for your sobriety and healing. Sending you tons of strength and puffer glimmer
