Sober
Today is 5 months sober from alcohol. I've lost nearly 40 pounds partly due to cutting it out. It feels like it has been years since I drank.

i have heard some real amazing stories of weight loss when those often empty carbs are removed ....
A lot of health problem's cleared up. They thought I had Chron's Disease but it was just alcohol. I do have some minor scarring on my liver. But the doctor said Thursday that they will go away. It helps that I'm not around people who drink in my daily life. One of the biggest incentives I had to quit was how much money I would save. But somehow I've figured out another way of spending it. It's nice to not be a slave to the bottle anymore. And I enforce my boundaries before being around certain people.
