First, I just want to acknowledge how much courage it took for you to type those words out and post them. Realizing you can't do this alone and asking for help for the very first time is a massive step. You should be incredibly proud of yourself for reaching out today.

As a listener here on 7 Cups, my main role is to listen and support you, but since you mentioned you are welcoming ideas and don't know where to start, I want to share a few immediate, no-judgment options to help you take that next step:

  • 7 Cups Substance Use Support Forum: You are definitely not alone here. We have a dedicated Substance Use Support Community where you can connect with peers who completely understand the "argument" you are describing and share what worked for them.
  • Professional Help: Because meth addiction has very intense physical and mental demands, having professional medical backing is often the safest and most effective route. If you are in the US, you can call the SAMHSA National Helpline at 1-800-662-4357. It is free, confidential, 24/7, and they can tell you exactly what local resources or detox options are near you.
  • Support Groups: Programs like Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA) or Smart Recovery offer free online and in-person meetings. They specialize exactly in helping people figure out "where to start" when quitting.
  • One-on-One Chat: If you just need to vent or talk through the cravings right now without any pressure, you can always request a private text chat with an active listener on our main page.

You don't have to have the whole road mapped out today. Just focusing on getting through the next hour, or even the next few minutes, is enough. We are here for you. What is one small thing from this list that feels okay to look into first?

Amazing for reaching out it takes real strength to ask for help - cliche but take a day at a time. It’ll be biggest fight of your life but it’ll save your life
