any recovery programs besides AA/NA?

the AA/NA meetings i go to in-person are heavily religious and/or cliquey, i’m gay and trans and have intense religious trauma so that’s not really great for me. i love the queer online meetings but am having a hard time finding a sponsor + staying on top of attending online meetings. what do yall recommend?

i also live in a rural area which has 3 AA meetings weekly, work an intensive full time healthcare job, and am 8 months sober with some steps worked with a sponsor, so driving 45min to rehab just to be mandated by rehab to go to AA (i’ve been thru this before, i’m not in any legal trouble because of addiction but i just wanted help) is not it for me unfortunately :(

Look into SMART meetings. They’re not geared around religion. It’s meant to provide tools/skills to fight against cravings/ addictions. I’ve never been to AA but I’m on day two of SMART meetings and it’s been very helpful. They’re very open minded and big community. Not clicky.
