Am I wrong about my self care?

I am a guy who experienced a form public shaming trauma as a child. As I nursed myself from the pain I felt inside, I developed a coping mechanism involving wearing ***, sometimes even lining them with sanitary pads. Just something about doing this gives me comfort like no other, perhaps it's the feminine touch?

To clarify, I'm straight and only wear ***. I buy my own and do not wear other women clothing. Just letting it out anonymously here. Feel free to comment positively or with constructive criticism. :)

@Jeremiah29v11

I appreciate you sharing something so personal.

What you described sounds like a coping habit you built during a really painful time, and it makes sense that it still brings you comfort.

You’re not wrong or broken for having something that helps you feel safe. 🤍
