Sunday again.

As a younger Christian, I think I used to live for Sundays. Sundays the highlight of the week, the point to work back to in a Monday. Not sure what happened to that mindset. Don't get me wrong I still look forward to church, but maybe my expectations of what can happen at church are lower than they were. I go, I listen, I drink a coffee, then it's over again, I need to get on with the next thing.

This is somewhat disappointing really and I would love to get the passion back. I don't think it's my faith at fault, I think it's the culture, something with not wanting to appear too keen, being in a somewhat conservative English Anglican church, trying to meet people where they are and not looking like a crackpot or a fanatic. . . . . .

I do think my expectations have become worn down too.......I dare not hope for too much anymore.....I am more fragile, vulnerable myself.

Nevertheless, God is at work, the Holy Spirit is always active and the greatest thing is love.

Today the service went too quick ......but there was love there and I felt lifted.

I wonder what other people found about their Sunday today?

I love Sundays.

It's about faith and family for me.

Making time 💛
