Being Kind
Being kind is a often two way street. When I am kind to others, I often get a kind response from them. Sometimes even if I am kind, someone is caught in a dark space and reacts, but I am not going to stop being kind. It feels too good to me. So much better than being angry.

@soulsings It's awesome that you are able to maintain your peace and show kindness no matter what. And I agree, it does feel better to not let others affect our emotions and our values.
How did you show kindness to yourself this month?
I showed kindness to myself this month by not showing kindness to some not so kind people ^^' It didn't feel good but I think it's necessary to not give the best you to people who don't deserve it.
How did you show kindness to others this month?
I'm yet to do something to show kindness to others in a way that counts but I'll try.

@soulsings it's much easier to be kind to others, rather than yourself. I always try to be kind to everyone. Supporting others on cups in the forums and group chats, makes me feel better too. And here at the nursing home, I'm always patient with, and listen to the older folks. And I try not to be any bother to anyone, as much as I can ❤

@Tinywhisper11 So true, especially when we have all those negative voices swirling, where do they come from? Is it inequitable comparisons? From the social media? I actually feel better dumping the toxic socials and toxic friends. We can learn a lot from older folks that's interesting you spend time around the elders, stories we can't find in the theater they'll tell sometimes.
@competentTruth3079 I'm only 23 years old, but I'm actually a resident here (live here) at the old folks nursing home. It's a long story and not ideal, but I get 24 hour care here🙂❤ I love it here
@Tinywhisper11 I prefer to believe the meek shall inherit the earth, as said by some contrarian a few thousand years ago. I may add to his words that the tiniest whispers share the most deafening insights.
@soulsings Can be hard to be kind to ourselves sometimes too, especially when we inhabit not so kind places, or family situations. Soul, where did that profile image come from? What's the story behind that face of yours? It looks serene maybe.
