@soulsings 1. The person you have to fight the hardest for, is you. 2. A simple life of peace, is worth for more than fame and excess. 3. Knowing truly what you want, comes with age. 4. People who continually bring pain and heartache, do not belong in your life. Fill your family with people who love and appreciate you for you. Not for what they want from you. 5. Your going to struggle. Your going to get to that point where you think "I've made it. I'm ok!" Then your going to struggle. That is not failure. That is growth. And it takes time. 6. You are alive. There is a simple joy in just that fact. You are here. You have survived. And yes. Eventually, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
@soulsings that I could expect the most basic and easy thing and it will still be let down. It taught me to not expect anything and only trust myself
@soulsings expectations for self and others seats will lead to disappointments. For the individual rather than place expectations just do the best you know how without expecting anything and you may be surprised what results come out of it.
@eternalHero77 I believe expectations set me up for disappointment. The problem is that there are so many causes and conditions for things to happen that it is very unlikely to turn out exactly as we want all the time.
@soulsings things may not always pan out the way we Wanna it but I have seen several times where things turned out better than I could have ever imagined then other times although it wasnt what I expected just knowing an effort was placed to get to what I expected and know that it was the best that could be done at the time. Then those times as my late husband would say expect nothin’ from no one ‘cause you'll always be disappointed-rely on self and at times this too need be done. If we know from experience how a certain person or place operates then sure rely on yourself you cant expect change if these people have been known to always operate in the fashion as they have in the past.
