Hi
So what do you do when you're in a 2 year relationship and your boyfriend promises to get married to you but then when you're about to enter the University he has to take a gap year because he wasn't able to get a course of his choice but then you go ahead and continue with your education. Now he gets the course he wants which is in the next academic year and mind you throughout all his gap year you were sneaking into his house at midnight, allowed him to break your virginity because you didn't want to deny him anything and then you're constantly there for him only to tell you the following year that he doesn't feel like having a girlfriend and would rather prefer being friends with you. Would you accept this friendship or just go ghost?

Bbreakups are usually hard and even worse if one sided.
It's ok to take time to yourself and not jump into a friendship. Space can be really healthy!
Personally, I think it's best to communicate that (assuming no safety concerns). "I'm not ready to be friends at this time, please respect my space ".
Most likely it’s better to have clean cut. Still, you are the best to answer this question for yourself. Was he a good friend besides being a boyfriend? Is he genuine about wanting a friendship or are those just words to make himself look better? How much it means to you? It is OK, if you feel betrayed and want to move on. It’s harder but also OK, if you really wanna stay in touch and honestly believe he is worth it. If you are not sure what you want, you can take it slow. Like: back off from close engagement but don’t announce cutoff.
Hello! Im 29 years old and i have been through things like this. I would highly recommend you to put you first. I dont think that being friends its going to help to deal with the fact that you both are not a couple anymore. He put himself first by taking that decision. Now put yourself first and take the decision that you feel its best for you! I send you a bigg big hug
@easyCoconut883. Sounds like he might be a friend's with benefits guy. How do you feel about that? Myself I would feel disrespected and used. You deserve so much more . Ive always gave too much of myself until recently I value myself more and dont accept someone thats into self pleasing. Hope this helps.
Come on dude !! He just took ur virginity and made u miserable by telling those stuffs!! It's crystal clear that he's not the right person!! He's stupid and open your eyes and see the truth he never wanted to marry u in the first place coz if he wanted to he wouldn't do that to you !!! START thinking logically it may SOUND hard for you but u have to start thinking about yourself or else you'll end up being more miserable!!
