How do you get better if you live with the problem

How do you help yourself if the problem never stops even after you talk to them about how u feel

Just how do you do this if it's the same thing over and over and over for the last 13 years..

@Blueeye2012 🙁 I'm sorry your going through all this. 13 years is a long time. Perhaps maybe you could find a new place to live, or kick the other person out? Sometimes the only way out is to cut toxic people out of your life for good. I know that's easier said than done though😕 gives you a giant tiny hug 💗💗 I hope you find a way out of this situation soon 💗 best of luck to you 💗

@Blueeye2012

I get it, my mother is basically my problem. That''s what I joined for. But I'm still too young to leave home so I have to live with my problem. I feel bad for you tho. Are you 13? just curious cuz you said the same problem for 13 years, if so, we are close in age.

I've talked, ish, about my problem too. I'm just living with mine. Are you doing that too?

Happy birthday, I'm almost 13. Don't think like that tho. I get it. I really do. But you have to stay strong. Don't let other people chose how you live. I know you have a wonderful life a head of you and even if it might not seem like it. YOU CAN DO IT!

With the assumption that you are under 18… Sometimes, it is best to take a step back and allow each incident (as long as it is not causing you physical harm) as a learning opportunity. Focus on you. Focus on school and bettering yourself for your future. Get good grades so you can get a scholarship to a good college and move out when you turn 18. The first step is recognizing they are the cause of the toxic environment. The second step is reaching out for help. You’ve already done both of these! Now it is time to focus on you and keep doing your best. It is very important that you continue to try to talk it out. Without knowing more details, it is hard to give specific advice, but maybe you should write her a letter about your feelings and ask her to read it in front of you. This may allow her to “hear” everything you have to say. Stay strong!

The “letter” is the only thing I’d change about this. If the parental unit is this bad, they may use it against her. Show the letter to a trusted adult, not the parental unit.

ooof if this isn't something that hits close to home. I know how you feel. People in general are hard. We all have different wants and needs. We have very strong opinions on what's wrong or right. We all want things our own way. Not saying that this is something you yourself is personally going through. There's a possibility that you are probably dealing with a difficult person. The first and foremost thing is that you be compassionate with yourself. Some people are going to tell you what you should do and why haven't you done this? Well you yourself truly know what steps you realistically need to take to get out of your situation. One thing that I would say is find some sort of safe haven wether it be scheduled phone calls with someone you care about, a place of comfort like a library, walks around the neighborhood, a cozy seat outside, find solace in a hobby. Also a given try your best to establish some sort of boundaries. It's hard when they're people who simply won't respect you but remember that you deserve respect. I wish there was something I could tell you like some magic formula or a promise that things will get better but I could tell you that you're doing a great job of finding some for of comfort by joining 7cups. Take care.

I came from a brutal home/ childhood/ parents and I can sympathize. I dont know how i made it but i am so so so glad I did. Life gets so much better once you get out (still with its own set of problems) that its worth holding up for.

you need to picture and imaginary wall where other people words attitude and behaviour can *** behind. ( difficult but worth the effort of mastering in life in general) and create you own imaginary life in your mind. Where you nurture and encourage yourself.

all these skills will serve you well in life once in every stage.

be strong and find moments of safety and happiness anywhere you can in music books journaling walks crafting body weight work outs anything you can manage.

I guess you just adapt, and stop expecting things from them. Withdraw yourself from them, and mind your own work. If they need help offer and help them. If you need help ask kindly, if they refuse just accept it and try to do as much as you can on your own. You should not expect that they'll help you, but it was just a try to see if things could ever go different. Protect your sanity. You are not what they made of you. You are not to be blamed for their behavior towards you. You are your own, your peace is your own. When you fe super strong, that they cant break you only then try and talk to that person. Expect that they won't understand so that you won't lose your head in the process and retreat when it feels like a lost cause. Most probably they're fighting with demons in their head, but that does not justify their behavior towards you. Be hopeful that something good is in store for you. With time maybe they'll understand, or maybe you'll move out to somewhere nice. But right now, acceptance. This is your situation. Accept, adapt, protect your sanity, survive.. God bless ❤️
