I have a problem
Soo I’m 15(F) and my uncles dad died but i don’t feel sad about it and when i heard I started smiling and giggling. This is a problem I’ve had since forever. Whenever someone died close to me or not I either didn’t care or I started smiling and giggling.

We all show our emotions in different ways. Smiling can giggling can be a normal nervous and anxious reaction but for example also a way to avoid negative emotions. It's much more normal in situations we experience as uncomfortable than we think. We might feel some sort of guilt about it or wonder why we are not sad when a loved one dies but feeling numb after death is also a quite common reaction. It can be also a way to push the fact of death away - denial.
I hope this helps.

That is a coping skill
@dove132009 hey it's ok, we all handle death differently we all grieve differently. When you smile and laugh it's actually just your way of accepting the news. It's not that big of a deal, there's nothing wrong with you ok? ❤ you'll cry and grieve in your own time ❤❤gives you a giant tiny hug
Edit: what I meant by close was that they were related to me I wasn’t close to most of them. But when my grandparents died I still didn’t care and started smiling, giggling and laughing.
