Helping those in need makes a difference in more ways than just their day. Many people have noone to reach out to so if they get help from somewhere it can mean a lot to them!

A large part of my job is helping people so the last time was at 8:15 am. The last time I help someone do something they could not do for themselves was about a month ago. I help guide a blind old man to the buss stop near my office. It was no inconvenience to me as I was already walking in that direction. The man was grateful. I felt nothing as a result.
I am always amazed by the bravery of blind people. If i could not see I would never go out alone.

Nice that you do help others! I also admire people with great challenges such as blindness and that many of them do not let the challenges they face define their happiness.

my whole day is helping ppl as that is who i am at school but i specifically helped a kid who we'll call jhon he is select mutism and the nicest kid you'll ever meet over the past few weeks i have helped him learn money better as he works java(the schools coffee shop run by ASD mild-severe) and have helped him talk a bit more and that was yesterday today i learned my friend had a bit of trouble in class with some things so i found them on the way to the bus and talked to them and offered to go with them to talk to the teacher and i am contently helping vision and ASD mild students as i love to help others

Have you had a chance to help someone recently, and how did that make you feel?
I’ve helped so many people so many times that many times I’ve had visions of myself helping someone no matter where I am or what I’m doing.
As far as helping someone recently…..
1. Going to my brother’s band’s show in full support of them. Being supportive is helping after all.
2. Helping my sister with her packing.
3. Helping my stepdad not only by lending him one or sometimes both of my hands but also by taking his mind off the usual negative stuff that’s in there by giving him something happy to focus on. And by giving him advice/suggestions which of course is up to him to try out for himself.
I always make myself available - maybe too available even at the cost of my own self lol???!!! - for others bc I was always a people pleaser for the longest time. So long in fact that I’m still now in the phasing out of it stage 😂😂😂

Being always there for others can be quite draining and one might lose oneself in the process of it. I'm glad you realized that you need your own care too!
