A sudden shock
Today, like enery morning of the past days I woke up and went to my work as usual, and when I stopped by the management clerks to give them the report of my presence they told my that my name have been removed from the salary list, so I went to my boss to ask him about that and he told me that I am fired. I went to my colleagues to say goodbye, and I tried to be strong and pretend that I am ok, but when I was talking I couldn't control my tears. I cried infront of them and they saw how bitty I am, so I lost my job, my dignity and my pride. when I returned home I slept then I continued reading the novel I was reading the past days 'A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles' and stopped by a situation like mine when Nina was leaving her daughter Sophia to Count Alexander Ilyich Rostov, Sophia tried to pretend to be strong and obey her mother so when she said ok her tears had fallen. I stopped crying now, but my mind doesn't stop thinking.
@DinaElwy I am so sorry for the loss of your job. That must be rough to go through.
@soulsings Yes, and the worst thing is that they didn't warn me before, I just surprised with it.
@DinaElwy I am terribly terribly sorry, I understand it must be very rough to I through. However, you never know, maybe it happened for a good reason. Maybe it happened so that you would be able to find an even better job with better people and bosses. It's ok to be sad about it, but at this point, the best thing to do is to try and keep moving forward 1 foot at a time. I promise you that you are so much closer to your breakthrough than you think :)
@Omar2M Thank you, I hope you are right because till now I still crying and looking back and can't move forward.
@DinaElwy
Im mad at them for firing you! You can cry today and then use a little bit of your emotional strength to push foward. There are great jobs and wonderful people out there where you will be a perfect fit. Away from trivial mean (meaningless) people.
Blessings, Day
