Helping others feels good

Recently I helped someone with getting to a place by driving them to the place they wanted to go. When I came back home I thought about them and their struggles to get around. It made me understand even deeper how difficult it is for some people just to do the basic things.

@amiablePeace77 I had the opportunity to help my grandmother when we went to a family party. I was really happy that I was able to get her a drink and some food because she has a hard time walking around. I am really grateful that I am in a position to help her! 😊

I could imagine that she was very grateful to have you there too! It's hard to carry a plate or a glass when you can't walk that well anymore.
@amiablePeace77 I agree ): She broke her knee last January, so walking has been difficult ever since. We try to help where we can 😊

I have the chance to volunteer at a barn full of horses who do their day job as equine therapists and social workers in a therapeutic riding program. It feels so good to feed, treat, love, and look after these animals that do such amazing work for our human community.
