Am I over reacting?
When I was away with friends on holidays I was brought back to one of my friends rooms I told him I didn't want to have sex. We were drinking and I was drunk and sitting in the bed he tried to kiss me and I turned away, eventually we ended up kissing, the situation got more out of control as he tried to take my trousers off, he reached down there to try put his fingers in and I grabbed him by the wrist and told him stop, he didn't stop and it ended up happening, when I made it clear again that I didn't want to have sex he called a taxi for me to go back to my apartment, I didn't tell anyone what happened only that we had a kiss, on the last night of holidays he grabbed me down there and asked me to go back to his room I said no and he started to verbally abuse me and tell me that he hates me and call me names, I feel really uncomfortable around him now , I don't know weather or not I'm over reacting about the whole situation and I don't really know how serious it is, i can't stop thinking about it and it's distracting me from everyday life it's been 3 months since and I think about it every day, am I over reacting?

I'm sorry you had to go through something like that I've been down that road but with an ex of mine and don't think your over reacting you at not he sexually assaulted you touched you without consent you said no pushed him away and he kept doing it that's an offence and against the law it was not okay for him to do that to you at you it be different if you said yes but you made it lound n clear for him no no no when someone says NO they have to stop and don't do it but if they keep going n ignore you that's wrong you can have him charged for that if you dropped him in sooner

hey thanks for the reply iv been really afraid that iv been over thinking and your reply really helped put things into perspective, I'm sorry you had to go through this too x
@littleGrapefruit23
Your welcome I'm glad I could be of some help my situation was a bit violent but i had some sort of sexual assault "R" section rated so I know what your going through hope all goes well for you in the future have you tried talking to family or even a professional about this and how your feeling . I'm in another relationship and its verbal abusive mentally so can't win lol
@BrightRedFlower2322
im too afraid to talk to anyone I know, about the situation, I need to just grow a pair and get in with it, don't let anyone mentally abuse you like that I have a friend in a similar situation and it's destroying her mental health I know it's hard if you have feeling for sombody but trust me it will be worth it confronting your partner telling them how you feel about what's going on or else leaving the situation all together, relationships are about being supportive and caring and you should feel happy don't forget that x
@littleGrapefruit23
Don't feel or be afraid to stand up and speak you have a right to talk about it after three years with my ex being bashed raped and got a lot of physical health issues like my ribs are pushed towards my lungs and I can't do much nor hardly breath at times I use to just sit there n cry until one day I said F it he ain't crying over what he did to me he ain't sitting there feeling sorry so why am I I need to move on yeah it hurts n will n still dose at times but voicing out what I went through helped I wouldn't be here right now if I stayed another week with my ex cause my chest n ribs are that bad I learnt to stand up tell myself I'm still here alive moving I am still myself I talked to a few people on here now I call my friends I'm sure you can do it too I know you can your a strong woman you can stand up to this and show it who's boss it won't happen straight away it takes time but once you start small every bit counts just like every cent and dollar adds up to a lot in the end it will be hard at first but once you voice it out once it slowly gets easier normally rape victims like myself keep this quiet but I voiced it out cause I know I ain't the only one it hurts but I did it good luck :) and thank you they only verbal abuse me when they don't get what they want or get angry thanks I already told them how I feel about being called names they say sorry but doesn't stop em.
@BrightRedFlower2322
hey your advice really means a lot to me really appreciate you helping me out, I'm sorry to hear about your ex he seems like a pig I hope you're ok, people don't like to hear the word "no" turns some people nasty and abusive I can relate to that, maybe you and your current partner should try some sort of relationship therapy, playing mind games with sombody is a form of abuse and you don't deserve to be treated like that!
@littleGrapefruit23
Your very welcome I'm glad to help out when. I can hope everything will be okay for you
And thank you we're slowly getting there
