For this week I am truly doing well. I am performing very well in my classes and I started investing this month which too has already shown fruits. I also began taking acoustic guitar lessons this month. April 2021 has been a time of great change for me personally. A movie I can watch repeatedly is Secondhand Lions. Its a lighthearted and very interesting story about two old men who lived incredible lives.
@Understandingempath Hey :) I'm glad things are going well for you - it's really nice to see you around again
That's a really cool movie isn't it? The lion was defective - lol :)
Yeah I feel everyone needs to hear Hubs speech. I hope you are doing well my friend.
@Understandingempath
Sometimes the things that may or may not be true are the things that a man needs to believe in the most: that people are basically good; that honor, courage, and virtue mean everything; that power and money, money and power mean nothing; that good always triumphs over evil; that love, true love, never dies... No matter if they're true or not, a man should believe in those things because those are the things worth believing in.
Thank you for reminding me of this :)
@Understandingempath
Very awesome to hear! Congrats <3
1. How are you doing? Any highs or lows you'd like to share? I am just low today. I feel completely deflated. I just do not feel worthy of anything. There is nothing that I want anyway, except my boyfriend, but he is miles away and dealing with his mom and ex. *sighs* I want to write, but even typing this my carpal tunnel hurts.
2. What is something you accomplished in the month of April? In spite of my carpal tunnel I typed 30,000 words for a story I wrote.
3. What movie can you watch over and over without getting tired of? Interview with a Vampire, Dirty Dancing, or the The Notebook
@Rebekahwriter13
Hello. I'm sorry you feel deflated and I understand it. Sometimes life is too overwhelming and dealing with it is draining. I feel like that too.
I want to say that I admire you. Though I have never spoken with you and I don't know you, you keep writing even whith your hand problem and that is admirable. I love people who write and I'm sure you're talented. I also like to write and I am writing a book but I haven't had motivation to keep doing it.
I saw that you like Interview With The Vampire. That movie is great. Have you read the book? I loved it and I decided to read Armand but, due to the graphic nature of it, I had to stop. It was just too much for me.
Another great book about vampires (and my all time favorite book) is Bram Stoker's Dracula. I think it is so well written and I love how the author describes Mina. I think there is a movie of that book but my mom doesn't let me watch it, she says I will once I am 18.
Anyway, I hope you feel better soon. I send you a big hug 🤗

Ava 💖
it is always so nice to read you. I don't know why but reading you always makes me smile. I think it is because I remember all the fun times spent with you in the chatroom. Your games are always the best and I truly enjoy them.
Anyway, I don't feel good at all and I don't want to talk about that, but I want to answer the last question and there are many movies that I can watch over and over and I will never get tired of them.
Princes Mononoke, Nausicaä, Howl's moving castle, Castle in the sky, Spirited away. I watched all of those with my father when I was little and they always bring me back good memories. I also love The Lord of the Rings movies, I think I've watched them like 15 times each. And another movie I love is Interstellar. Sometimes I just listen to the music of those movies for hours and hours.
@fairyava Hey
Tbh - things haven't been going to well lately. To share - Idk
Got a year older - thought things would be better or further along then they are by now - instead it just seems worse
Labyrinth or Lethal Weapon
@fairyava

@fairyava
I'm doing ok. High is spending time with my daughter. Low is my therapist can't see me until next week.
I posted one of my poems on a poem forum. I have gotten some positive feedback so that's nice.
I can't think of one.
1. How are you doing? Any highs or lows you'd like to share?If we remember right, yesterday was a very good day. Today, was a not so good day, with some difficult times. Got triggered bad by someone asking directly and sitting there, expecting us to tell them about lots of the trauma/abuse stuff that we went through. we just got though barely a tiny bit, we think, then, others were out and we are not so sure. it had us messed up bad for a while, but, we finally got to a point and remembered to do soem grounding stuff and it helped us get more back from limbo land. we then couldn't do what we had left to do for tonight and we all regret that but we did the best we could.
2. What is something you accomplished in the month of April?we got our new glasses ordered and maybe get them in a couple more weeks. we can't really remember exactly when we ordered them, but, it usually takes 2 to 3 weeks for some reasons. we hope they are right and we can see better. that last time we were attacked badly really messed up our eye and it is held together by stitches permanently and one came broken loose and messed out our eye and now our visision is messed up from that also. but, we are happy we were so able to afford to get the glasses when we needed them, for a change and that is a big thing to be happy about for us all.
3. What movie can you watch over and over without getting tired of?Logan's Run,Fried Green Tomatoes...really love Fried Green Tomatoes the best. We used to love going to the cosmic concerts inside the place here in Jacksonville, with Lori, back in the late 70's. It was special music, cosmic lights, and the room slowly spinned....it was so cool. Oh we also love to keep watching Catty Shack. Lori and I went and saw that in the very late 70's or very, very early 80's too, at a nice movie place for adults. We had our beer and popcorn back then and we enjoyed the movie. It was happy times back then.
