I'm quite satisfied with how yesterday turned out to be. It started with me crying in bed from like 3 o'clock in the morning not really feeling like doing anything. Then my aunt came to check on me and she was surprised to find me like that, she honestly had no idea why I was crying and acting weird from the previous day at lunch time. And when I told her it was because I couldn't cook as she asked she laughed in disbelief saying "but who cares?! Really? You think it's that important?". And it came out that she didn't greet me coming home and didn't try to call me for dinner because she had her own stuff going on, since it was valentine's day and she had no one to spend it with, she wasn't angry at me. So I felt less guilty and I decided to make a big effort to shower and get ready in an hour to be at the fair where there was an expo of all natural things and some friends of ours had a stall where they sold handmade jewelry with "healing stones" in it. I don't believe in that stuff but I like geology, so it might have been interesting anyway. We participated to a yoga lesson, at some point I helped our friend taking their dogs for a walk, which I always like, but most importantly, I got to meet the Celtic historical revival "family" who was at expo, with all their tents, Celtic clothes, totems, talismans and stuff. They focus on the druid traditions of the Celts. And they offered me to enter their family, they were so nice. I think that kind of thing would really help me, so I'm going to try. I know anxiety WILL get in the way. I hope I'll be stronger, because I know that kind of thing might help me a lot

it's been ok. Some good moments were playing with my dog (a lot) and getting some stuff done. Some bad moments....I guess feeling miserable about myself and some other stuff

and what are your plans for the next week?

Nothing big. For Presidents' Day tomorrow, I'm hoping to stay home and relax with my dad

Past week: rollercoaster of moods!

Good moments: realized that if I lay in bed too long, I'm more likely to have an unproductive day. Even if my daily goal is to sit through a 30 minute TV show without multitasking... I made it 10 minutes yesterday and I'm proudlaugh I also noticed I feel depressed if stay in bed, so no more of that. I unnecessarily pressure myself to recover, do well in school, be an adult. What I truly need is patience, gratitude, self compassion, a list of coping skills on my bedroom wall. Change won't happen over night.

Bad moments: almost unraveled the last 2 days. Heard some really gross graphic comments on Thursday that I couldn't get out of my head. They got to me & I started hating myself so I upped my self care as much as I could. Yesterday was almost a full relapse with flashbacks to top it off. Feel more urges today. Tired of fighting it but don't want to give in. It hurts but it will pass

Plans for next week: school, no skipping class. Journal again, even if it I simply write "hi", & there's no need to fear feelings. Try active rest days since no movement on my current rest days depresses me. Watch 15 minutes of TV without multitasking. Meditate, stretch, exercise, repeat. Respect myself & accept others even when it's hard - be the bigger, stronger person. Have fun. Challenge myself gently.

@AveryLove Hi there my beautiful friend! So this passed week for me was kind of a hard one to be honest! I'm bipolar so I have a big problem with racing thoughts and feeling intense emotions ALL the time and usually I can handle it but I guess it was just a little too overwhelming this last week. But things will be okay because I always smile again. Things can get tough mentally but I will pull through! My plans for this week mainly involve working and giving my son his daily lessons. Thank you for a lovely check in and I hope you are doing wonderfully today!

@AveryLove

How was the past week for you? What were some good moments, what were some bad moments?

The past week has been very challenging. I had to take a few difficult decisions and stand up for myself. I had to go to the police too to file a complaint. I am grateful though because a friend was there to support me and because the policeman I talked to was very understading too. I always expect people to tell me it is my fault if bad things happen to me, that I deserve them, that I did something to make them happen. But he did not. And even if I am scared of the consequences, I am also proud of myself. I am proud that I am no longer finding being abused ok.

Another good moment: I started yoga.

What are your plans for the next week?

I am having another yoga class tonight. I also plan on trying aquabike on Wednesday. I want to take care of my body. I want to study too, I recently started university again. And I want to focus on therapy.

Thank you for this nice check-in.
