recently i have been reflecting a lot, thinking about progress, recovery and mental health and how it changed me in the past few years. thinking back how life was 3 years ago seems... almost unreal to me.

Fascinating check in topic! Well, I was at a totally different job last year. Now, I am at a new job, and my lifestyle has totally changed too. One year from now... I hope to grow more as a person, both in and out of the workforce.

It's monday but I felt like answering anyway, I love your topics :D
Where was I a year ago, oh my..... In Rome, not knowing about my childhood trauma as it was still completely hidden in my unconscious. Dealing with having been raped again as an adult on my own, having many ups and downs, reading books, taking it slow. I was doing theater twice a week, so a lot of that going on, including making real friends (they felt a lot like family) for the first time of my life. But my life was completely different. I hadn't started my healing process at all so I was so caught up in all my issues in my head it was like a bowl of spaghetti and you can't seem to make an edible fork of spaghettis with them, it's either too much or too little. It was a very very very different time. But I was somehow the happiest I had been in a long long time. I was free. I had so many things going on. I was both happy and very upset inside.
And where will I be a year from now? April 2021.... who knows... hopefully still in therapy and still healing and still working my current job :) I hope things will be more manageable and will affect my daily life a little less a year from now. Maybe I'll be pregnant, who knows.. I think maybe I'd like that :) but I'm seeing positive things for myself, and it's probably the first time I'm reflecting on time related stuff and being positive about the future as the past 7-8 months have brought positivity along with time and healing.
