Traumatic Experiences Community Daily Check-In: Sunday 26th January
hello my lovely trauma community! hows it going? so good to see you this sunday! 
yesterday i was invited to a dinner with people i did not know at all.... of course my inner voice was telling me, this is maybe going to be so awkward, dont do it! But then on the other side I thought, why should i judge the situation before i even try it out? Long story short, I ended up going and I met so many new and interesting people, i wondered why i usually stay in my comfort zone.
Getting out of our comfort zone seems to be a huge step to all of us, and i totally get that its difficult because we usually tend to (at least I do!) overthink some situations and do not like to risk anything.
So for today, i wanted to ask you...
When was the last time you stepped out of your comfort zone? How did it go?
And if you had to describe the past week in a gif or 3 words, what would you choose/say?

I don't really remember the last time I stepped out of my comfort zone, usually I need to be dragged out of it, making it feel like not my choice when I do. Or if it goes well, I wasn't the one responsible for the success

Thank you for making me reflecting on this topic. I think I do step out from my comfort zone more frequently compared to the past. Last time it happened was a couple of days ago.
This past week has been extremely challenging for me.
This is gonna sound silly, but taking the initiative to do things on my own (without a friend accompanying me) is WAY outside my comfort zone. I went to the store the other day, alone, and shopped. I didn't care what other people were thinking. I didn't feel the need to cling to my phone for support. I had FUN. It was wonderful. I look forward to doing more things on my own, just for the silly thrill of it all!
