Alle cultures and faiths celebrate the spring (spring in northern climates fall in southern). For those of my faith, the spring Holiday was Herthas Dag on March 21st (The Spring Equinox, Heliths Dag for those celebrating The Fall Equinox in the southern world) Celebrating the return of Odinn/ the return of the Sun to the North World. So now we know what Christians and Northern Pagans hold as a spring holiday, is there something special done in your faith or culture at this time of year? Perhaps something only you and your family do? Please do share, I love to learn of new cultures and faiths. Festivus for the rest of us perhaps? Does this work in the spring too?

Had a great morning celebrating Easter with my daughter. She is now at her dad's for the rest of the day. I am thankful that I have this so I don't feel so alone. Easter used to be a big event in my family. Now it's just another day to them. The other good part of today was I wrote a poem. It has been a while. Things are going better so it's harder to write. There are so many inspirational people on here. Thank you.
@RedHawk6547 Hugs Red. I am glad you got to be with your child for atleast half the day. Cherish that memory.
I also know how it feels to have to hand over your child to the ex for a holiday. Just hold on to the good part hon, it's awesome.

Im feeling down and im very alone today and ive tried disraction, ive tried focusing on chores, even putting on music. Nothing is helping. I never get to see my family for holidays and then my dad sends a pic of my siblings all dressed up for easter but other than that makes no attenpt to talk to me. It only makes it worse, makes me mad honestly. I worked today and so does my man. Im sick of routin and frustrated!

i hear your frustration. I can relate. I know when I start to feel lonely like that and nothing is working and all I feel is restless sometimes going for a walk helps me. Sometimes the fresh air can be nice and just getting out of the house. It's hard though when you feel like nothing's working because none of those feelings are nice to feel.
