Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone! How are you doing so far this week? Has it been good to you? Has it been a bit difficult? Either way, I hope you know we're all here for you, and this is a safe place where you can share as much or as little as you'd like. 💜
Today I'd like to talk a little about Spring Cleaning!
It can seem like such a daunting task, I know. BUT. Here's the thing, spring cleaning isn't just all about dusting, vaccuuming, and organizing your home. That wouldn't make for much of a trauma thread, now would it? Spring cleaning is also good for your mental health. So, work on clearing out the clutter in your mind and maybe try to rid yourself of a negative habit. Try (I know it's so hard at times!) to live in the moment as often as you can. Spring is such a beautiful time of year. Try to take note of the new beginnings happening all around you. Butterflies are my absolute favorite, because the thought of being able to just get up and fly away has always been so appealing to me. The caterpillars will be coming out soon, and that means the butterflies are soon to follow. Watch the flowers bloom and take peace in that new start to life (even if you have a magnolia tree like I do that blooms for a hot second and then all the petals fall lol!!).
