I definitely have noticed physical responses to my (what I now know is) ACEs. I've noticed my ability to learn has been disrupted (I thought it was because of head injuries that went untreated, which could probably still be a factor). What I never knew was that this was as drastic as it is. At least now I know to get help.

Hello! thank you for sharing your thoughts. Content isnt intended to change your view or known knowledge you have about trauma. I thought it was interesting perspective and a Movement that's worthy to be mentioned. I also have history of TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) due to physical abuse when I was a child. When I was in treatment for my mental health, I got asked many times if I had history of TBI. So I know that physical injury has been counted as a factor when treating mental health. So there is a well known relation between brain injuries and mental health already but our physical wellbeing has not been related to our mental health all that commonly. I think this movement is an eye opening information to many of us suffering from childhood trauma.
@Jackie Thanks for your response :)
