Hello lovely trauma family

Flowers, thinking of flowers, as i looked out the window at the brilliant colours of the dahlias that are in full bloom right now. And early in the morning i picked a bucketful to give away. Flowers that bring colour, flowers that brighten a room, flowers that bring a smile, flowers that warm a heart.

Flowers have been part of our history and appear in religious and spiritual writings, fairy stories and myths. Flowers that are often the herald of a new season, as is for those of you in the northern hemisphere with a glimpse of spring appearing in the snowdrops and.daffodils. For us "down under" there are the chrysanthenums about to bloom with their shades of bronze, yellow and rust, reminding us that autumn is on its way. Flowers are present in many of our rituals, like birthdays, weddings, and funerals. They often express love and deep emtions when we may not have the words. Their simple beauty speaks volumes. Maybe there's someone in your life that you'd like to give abunch of flowers to..

How is your day going? What is your favourite flower? Can you remember a time when flowers were of special significance to you? Or pop in to say hi! You're welcome here.. this is your space and a safe place. x
