Its the weekend!!!! Yay! How are you all doing? Hows your week been? Any plans for the weekend? Healing from traumatic experiences is hard going, its hard work and it can be very much a rollercoaster of a journey. Its important to always look after yourself and your needs and to take time out for you and practise some self care when needed. This space is yours, to share whats happening in your world, to say Hi, to let us know if you need some extra support, to share the good days, bad days and inbetween days. This is a safe and supportive daily checkin space for our members :)

I plan on sitting at my computer for the next...uhmmm....about 31-ish hours? I have 12 discussion board posts, 2 quizzes, an exam, and a writing assignment due for my history class by midnight EST on Sunday. I have so far done none of it. I did go online and buy the smartbook from McGraw Hill though so I can do that instead of trying to just read the book. I'm having a really hard time concentrating today. Probably because I've been doing homework for my other classes non stop all week and barely sleeping. But I did go back and look at the syllabus and you can turn stuff in late, and you just lose 10pts for each day it's late. So I'm trying to get everything but the writing assignment done today (probably not gonna happen 😝) and then just do my best to not lose more than 20pts on the writing assignment. I can lose exactly 90pts in the class and still get an A, so I'm not super concerned about it, but it is kinda frustrating because I put this stuff off and now I might lower my grade because of it 😕 I'm just so tired though, that I really just don't even want to write the stupid writing assignment, and there's not even super clear directions for it or anything 😑

@BeeLeigh Bee it sounds as though you are under a lot of pressure to get all this done, and your sleep is being neglected. Try in between trying to complete what you feel needs doing, to grab something to eat, and get a little rest. Nurishment and sleep is important and helps to keep the brain functioning at a level that will help you with your work. If you neglect eating and rest you may find levels of concentration begin to suffer, let alone thinking well enough to complete your work. Take regular breaks, even if its going for a quick walk, grabbing a drink and so on. Remember your important too in all this :)

@dancingRainbow45

Eating is definitely not a problem. I have snacks all over by my desk and I've basically been eating all day haha. I have also had a lot of caffeine today though, because I have exactly 26hrs and 39mins to turn all this in 😣 I will be crashing afterwards though. Most definitely. It's been kinda nice here so I have at least had my window open! And I've been playing Bach for the last couple hours cuz we went over him in my music appreciation class and I actually like his stuff. It's better to listen to music that doesn't have lyrics when you're trying to study lol
