Being with someone knowing they have problems is one thing another is always thinking as a women we can change everything I met this man on an online dating app should have seen the signs before hand but like the immature person I once was I thought it was normal from consistently getting stalked by him and not even knowing him that well

my mother always telling me to give the benefit of the doubt in people and always seeing the food in people being with this man barley meeting him not knowing the demons he had within him is what I regret the most

from finding needles used for injecting drugs too dealing with a opiate addiction was the beginning of a life I didn't imagine I was deserving of or even worth going thru but there I go loving someone that has all those issues

fast foward too 1 year I couldn't work I couldn't go to my moms I couldn't go to school I couldn't have friends I couldn't go on social media I constantly had my phone checked and my loyalty questioned finally when I had the balls to walk away I get the script flipped and making my life living hell

I'm really sorry to hear about all that you've been through in the past year or so. It's so hard to know what you are getting into with an onoine relationship. With hindsight the warning signs might feel obvious, but if someone isn't being honest and upfront about who they are, and you choose to trust what they present to you, then that shouldn't be considered a fault of your own. I'm sorry to hear, though, that leaving has been such a hard process for you. Remember that you don't deserve to be controlled. A relationship isn't an invitation to take over your entire life, or to be controlled, and you have the right to back out of a relationship if you feel uncomfortable. I hope that, now that you have walked away, you are able to re-establish old connections and build new ones, and the people in your life now are supportive and understanding as you recover. All the best
