He beats me up mentally and physically and I stick to him because I don’t want to lose him and I want him to love me again.

I am in the same situation interested to see replies, its hard when you feel like they are the only person you have, I hope you find a way to be strong we need to find away to accept we are worth more, it is tiring spending everyday walking on eggshells trying to change someone ❤

My husband asked me to look for another man who will love me back. I refused as I want to stick to our marriage and our children. I don’t want to be like my parents who broke up and my dad had his mistress over my mom.

Are you financially dependent on him? You deserve someone who loves you back, have you ever tried leaving if so how does he react? Do the children hear how he is with you? If they are old enough to understand what is happening in your relationship and he still hasn't changed i think your children would be better with 2 parents who live separate but are happy than have 2 parents who fight. You are a beautiful woman and you can be strong and independent if you need to be, you deserve someone who treats you like a princess as I am sure you will treat him like a king and if he can't treat you as you deserve to be treated treat yourself that way. How long have you been unhappy? If you really can't leave which I fully understand because it is hard, start doing more things for yourself, do your make up on a morning just to make yourself feel good, do your hair nice, put your favourite clothes on and watch your favourite Disney movies with your children put your energy into yourself and them and put him to the back of your thoughts, if you start putting yourself first you will feel better and stronger 💪❤

I went through something similar. I didn't want it to end. I kept saying to myself if only for the kids I have to make this work. It never got better. When I finally left it was hard on us all , but my son is in a way better place mentally now that he doesn't hear his mother and I fighting all the time. The fear of turning into a divided family like my parents ended up all , but ruining my sons childhood. This is all my opinion based off my similar experience. You have to figure out what is best for your children's mother ( a happy healthy mother is very important to a child's development). Imo by accepting his abuse it sets a an example for the children as to what is acceptable. When I went to court for custody of my son the mandatory parenting class taught us that the older a child is when the parents split the harder it is on them just food for thought. I'm glad I got out when I did. BPD is hard enough in a healthy relationship. I wish you luck!

thanks for the overflowing concerns! am so touched and can’t explain how am being treated here which is different from how my husband treats me each day. i am not financially indebted with him as i have my own career. he has worked for 15 years overseas and now at this point he lost his job for over a year now which exhausted all of his savings meaning am the only ones putting food on the table and pays the utilities. he used up my inheritance from my parents as he asked me to purchase a car for him. he still treats me like am no good for him after all.
