My favorite way to self-care is...
Spend time with my kids @Kate
When I self-care I usually think to groom. I'll take a bath, I'll paint my nails, I'll do some yoga... I think I feel the best, though when I buckle down and do the work I need to do!
Try to distract my mind. Get busy doing anything.
A long walk in the counrty with my dog.long bath after, with nice calming music.
There are so many ways i like to honour myself and that are cheap.
I like tea. I find supermarket teas at dollar stores and discount stores.
I get my haircut at a high end hairsyling school, where the cuts are free or very cheap.
I ask department stores for perfume samples and then I take them home and spray them when i feel down.
I go on youtube and watch cat videos.
I journal.
I frequent littlefreelibraries where i drop off and pick up books. I also find books which are new at dollartree.
I go to the steam room at my gym and comb my hair and rest.
I start random conversations with strangers at malls or coffee shops.
I watch Hallmark tv movies.
@frizzyfreckles 🥰 loved it!
@Kate Read books at the local library with my boyfriend. Highlight of the week for us.
Binge watch Netflix
Hang out with my parrots and tell them about my day and talk about my feelings
Have a bath and play a phone game
Glass of wine

Hikes and my time at the gym are sacred to me. Nobody ought to disturb me during my workout. Being in shape reduces the risk of so many ailments and is like an investment into my future wellbeing and happiness.
Im also a big believer in looking good and doing good, and embracing my femininity makes me feel good personally. So I enjoy getting my haircut cleaned up and a deep condition at the salon, and my eyebrows threaded. When Im feeling really down, I like looking at pretty underthings and jewellery.
