Dealing with past trauma, especially when it involves a parent, can be incredibly challenging. It can feel like you're carrying a heavy burden all alone, and when it's not acknowledged or understood by others, it can make the weight even heavier. It's incredibly important to find someone who can truly empathize and support you through this difficult time. Processing trauma is a journey, and it's different for everyone. It's okay to take things one step at a time and to seek out the support you need, whether it's through therapy, support groups, or talking to trusted friends or family members.
