Blackmailing Trauma
In January a friend of mine blackmailed and threatened me forcing me to send him sexually explicit images and videos of his choosing. It went on for weeks before one day he just stopped talking to me. I finally mentioned it to my therapist. She said it has given me trauma and I’m so scared.
i feel like it’s all my fault. Like I knew deep down he would never actually do anything to me but I did it anyways. I can’t have trauma if it’s my fault right? I don’t want this.
@Kurapika99 many things can cause trauma😥 sorry sweetie 😞 if this man ever pops up in your life again, please remember blackmail is illegal and so is threatening behaviour, so please call law enforcement. Hopefully your therapist can help you with this. And no this isn't your fault, when we are threatened our brain gets scared and what we do in that moment, we do for our safety, so it's his fault not yours.
