I have difficulty with scheduling real time chat, but I'm pretty good about exchanging messages. I grew up under bizarre and toxic circumstances, so maybe I can understand a bit about what you've experienced. I'm pretty flexible about spiritual issues. I identify with being Christian, but not in the traditional sense. I think it relates to my perception that Jesus wasn't religious (sans dogma). So, feel free to message me if you wish.
I can definitely relate. I've been working through childhood trauma for a long time... even with the help of therapists it's taken me more than a decade to understand how it's affected me and to manage the symptoms it's left me with. Developmental trauma can affect us in a lot of ways that can be difficult to find words for. But talking about it and putting in the work to start to find those words can be really helpful.
I'm always up to chat about that stuff or just to talk about life in general. I grew up Christian but my current religious identity is Unitarian Universalism; I've found a lot of value and comfort in Christian scripture and theology over the years but I don't literally believe in a lot of the dogma that most of the churches around me believe are important.
I'm so sorry, I know how it feels. I'm so sorry, I know how you feel. I really hope you feel better.
